Adding to a Teachers Digital Toolbox

Let's look at how SitePasser can be customized from a Teacher to Students. In this example we wanted to promote a school named Valley Christian School (or VCS) located in Spokane Valley Wa., as the working model. This will also show how easy it is to distribute over the web using Abobe Air and Flash technologies. This is all done by the Self-Install Badges below. As an extra, we added a custom calendar feature because of the importance placed on lesson due dates.

What you see below are 2 different web pages with Adobe Flash embedded into HTML and both using the self-install badge. These two pages were setup using the HTML < IFRAME > tags so you can view them side by side on the same page. The Flash self-install badges will automatically check your computer to see if Abobe Air is installed. If NOT, the badge will automatically ask you to install Abobe Air before the App, and will do it all at the same time during the visitors download process.

The First one on the left is the ReBranded version that we are naming the Teachers Editor. This is the editor that Teachers in this school would use on their own computers to publish with.

The second one on the right is the Student Viewer, which is another app stripped of most functions to a Read Only Viewer, and will Demo the download process from a website the students use.

We also want to point out that this is only an example so the teacher's image and name of Mrs. Smith is truly fictional at the time this example was put together. 8/1/10
